Self Catering In Tintern

CRAIGO BARN This is situated about a mile up the Trellech Road on the left. Trellech Road starts beside the Wye Valley Hotel on the A466 and is signposted to Catbrook.
The accommodation was originally an ancient stone barn, reputed to have been built by prisoners awaiting their deportation to Australia. (The area is known as "Botany Bay"). The building is now a detached self-catering holiday cottage close to the owner's farm house. The farm itself is an organic small-holding with sheep, ducks, chickens, a lake and a pony.
Within the barn, one bedroom is a double, the other has four single beds (not bunks). Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen/living room, separated by a breakfast bar. The toilet and shower room is also downstairs. The accommodation is well equipped
