The Fountain Inn

Turn up the road beside the Royal George Hotel and continue for about 1.5 miles, always turning to the right on surfaced roads. There is easy parking. The Fountain has five rooms to let (one is a single) providing Bed and Full Breakfast and Evening Dinner. There is a restaurant serving Table d'Hote and A La Carte meals. The bar also provides bar meals, real ales and malt whiskies.

PARVA FARMHOUSE RIVERSIDE GUESTHOUSE AND RESTAURANT


This is situated on the river side of the A466 main road at the very northern end of the village.

It is a 17th century farmhouse with nine en-suite rooms and a restaurant. It has ratings in many hotel guides including Johansens. Paddy Burt of the Daily Telegraph enjoyed her stay here. Open seven days a week.

ROYAL GEORGE HOTEL

This is situated close to the Abbey on the A466 in the middle of the village. The Hotel started life in 1598 as the Iron Master's Cottage and in the 17th century was converted into a coaching inn. Over the years the building has been extended and improved. There are 19 rooms, 16 of these adjoin the main building and overlook the hotel gardens. The restaurant provides all meals. Dogs are welcome at a small premium.
